My Sports Videos lets parents, family and fans share videos of youth games. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English.
The short version
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use ad tracking or ad profiles.
- Kids don't have accounts. Adults upload, join teams and send messages.
- Players appear by first name, last initial and jersey number only.
- Anyone can ask us to hide or remove a video of their child at Hide or remove my child. We hide it right away and review it within 48 hours.
What we collect
- Videos and what's saved with them: the video file, when it was recorded and how long it is (read from the file), and the details the uploader types: their name, the team, where they filmed from, the player and a note about the play.
- Team information: the team's name, sport, level, league, city, state, season, colors and logo; the schedule; and the roster (first name, last initial, number, position, and the names a coach adds for a player's mom and dad).
- Team members: the name an adult gives when joining, which player is theirs, their messages, and their alert settings.
- Calls in The Booth: the words, headline and, if a parent records one, their voice recording.
- Activity: cheers, shares and views, counted with a random code kept on your phone, not your name.
- Phone alerts: if you turn them on, the technical address your phone's alert service gives us.
- Requests: what you send us on the hide-or-remove form, including an email only if you give one.
How we use it
To show the videos to the people they were shared with, put plays from different phones together, run team chat and alerts, show sponsors' messages and count how often they're seen, and handle safety requests. We may use AI to write or voice play calls; it only uses the details people typed, never face recognition.
Who can see what
- A game's videos can be seen by anyone with that game's link until the link ends. Coaches can turn off sharing for a play or a whole game.
- Team chat, messages and the roster are only for people who joined that team. The coach can see messages that are reported.
- Sponsors get totals (views, scans, visits), never names.
Children
The site is for adults. Children may watch with a parent, but we don't let children create accounts or upload, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. Parents and coaches control what's shared about their players.
Companies that help us run the site
We host the site and store videos with Cloudflare, which also runs the AI that writes and voices calls. Phone alerts go through Apple, Google or your browser's alert service. They handle information only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep things
We keep videos and team information until the uploader, the coach or we remove them. We're setting a schedule for clearing out old seasons and will update this page when it's in place.
Your choices
- Ask us to hide or remove any video of your child: Hide or remove my child.
- Leave a team and turn off alerts from the team page.
- Ask us to delete information about you through the same form (choose "Something else").
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
